Dan's got a strange problem. Three Dans fighting in one body: melancholy storyteller, outrageous stand-up turned Hollywood star and one-liner family man performing for the first time. A show that proves no matter how good you got it, you can always have it better. Oh, and that you should never volunteer for experimentation into alternative universes!

About the Show

If there's one thing you can say about me it's that I love a clunky high-concept set-up for a show.  I'd decided I'd like to try and stretch my comedy wings trying different styles - melancholy storyteller I've got down pat, but I thought it would be fun to try my hand at both one-liners and becoming an outrageous high energy comic like a Robin Williams or Phil Nicol type.

Coming up with a Mcguffin that I'd volunteered for a science experiment in alternative universes that had gone a little ka ka, instead of travelling to another universe, two additional versions of me now inhabited my body from time to time - a hollywood comedy superstar and a homely one-liner merchant trying stand-up for the first time.

I don't think anyone had ever done something similar before and it turns out there's a reason - it's bloody hard.  I was nervous about seeing if it worked in front of a crowd - the crowd helped out my nerves by going elsewhere. It seemed fun for the small numbers that did turn out though.
